The tattooing studio is an important part of the business and Sureno has earned an international reputation – and awards – for his unique and self-taught artistry. Some well know celebrities are among his clients. Sureno regularly attends tattoo events around the world and has appeared on TV in China where tattoos are growing in popularity.
When Sureno is not in his tattoo studio, he can be found spending his spare time creating bespoke precious wood items, including bread and chopping boards using various selections of sought after precious wood.
Carina trained in her native country Brazil, but after visiting Italy then the UK, she decided to stay.
“I liked the ‘rock n roll’ aspect of different cultures living together here in London,” she says.
Her vibrant coloured designs are based on a neo-traditional style and contrast well with Sureno’s black and white body art. Whether you are wanting a simple haircut or shave, or a whole new look and perhaps make a statement with some fantastic body art, Gaby, Sureno and the team will work their collective magic, using their experience and expertise to provide the best service in a relaxed and friendly environment.
When Carina is not in the tattoo studio or a rock music concert, she can be found taking her beautiful Belgian Shepherd for her daily walks.
Short answer, yes BUT its bearable, otherwise so many people wouldn’t have them.
At Cavalleros we always advice you eat a good meal at least an hour before, so you have energy throughout the tattoo and recommend you bring a bottle of water with you along with a sugary drink i.e Lucozade. Having a good night sleep prior to the appointment also massively helps. Lastly don’t mentally work yourself up, anxiety can exhaust you even before you begin, so try and relax, practise some breathing techniques and most importantly DO NOT consume alcohol the night before and the run up to the tattoo, alcohol thins the blood and can make it difficult for the tattooist to give you the work of art you deserve.
As vivid as your imagination may be its always good to bring any material reference you may have, i.e pictures, drawings, books etc to help put across your idea of what you like and what you want in your custom tattoo from our artist.
I have had my hair done at Cavalleros for over a year now. We have done all sorts to my hair, and their skills never fail to impress. The service is warm and friendly, the atmosphere in the salon itself is sociable, and I always feel welcome. I highly recommend this place if you want to get your hair done!Patricia Dul
Just had a great tattoo done by Sureno – he took my ideas and came up with a really cool design. Its such a friendly space and a great collaborative design process. I am so pleased he translated my thoughts into a really cool piece.Ellen Deverell
